APT has recently become part of the BCG family the UK’s leading distributor of kitchen, bathroom and heating products to independent merchants and retailers, part of Wolseley UK.

Amongst its products APT boasts the famous Unifix brand, which has a long and established history as a quality plastic fittings brand. With a rich history dating back to 1963, Unifix has been the market-leading brand across a range of industries for almost 50 years. The products in the Unifix stable include a range of fixings and the original Kliplok pipe clip as well as the uniquely designed collection of cable clips, the portfolio also has a range of power tool accessories, sealants and adhesives, hand tools, and the Thunderbolt.

In 1996 Thunderbolt, the original all purpose market leading concrete anchor was launched and together with Unifix the two became firmly established as the trade’s favourite brands.

Today in 2010, both brands have been re-launched to the merchant and professional trade to demonstrate their effectiveness, versatility, durability and strength.
